The Prisma Choir is made up of singers from Amsterdam with a mental disability. Together with enthusiastic volunteers, they have rehearsed a number of songs especially for Roots: from Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Annie M.G. Schmidt and songs in Turkish and Surinamese. Pop music, sounds from further afield, nostalgic tones and delightful sing-alongs. A first at Amsterdam Roots Festival. Immediately a good start to a beautiful festival day.
This choir always knows how to touch its audience, don't miss it.
