\nCircus in the Mix
<\/b>Three artists and three different disciplines. Meet Oscar Quevedo who moves seemingly effortlessly in a \u2018cyr wheel\u2019, a large spinning metal wheel. Meet Jon Wino who smoothly walks across a giant \u2018walking globe\u2019 and watch Lorena Di Bello swing herself around in the air on a \u2018static rope\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

Oscar Quevedo
<\/b>Oscar was born in the city Bogota in Colombia. He has toured the world with his performances and shows for 15 years as an actor, musician, acrobat and juggler. His travels introduced him to the ancient art of saltimbanco, which he has learnt from other nomadic and itinerant artists. He has taken professional training and courses in Colombia, Argentina; Brazil, Italy, France and Belgium. Between backflips, musical studies, juggling and dancing he continues his journey around the world, always acquiring new techniques and knowledge that day by day continue to nourish him as a human being and as an artist. Besides, he runs his own circus compagnie La Favorita.<\/p>\n

Jon Wino
<\/b>The artist Jon Wino from Kenya, born and raised in the vibrant heart of Kibera. From humble beginnings, he has carved a unique path in the world of contemporary circus, specializing in the rare and enchanting discipline better known as the walking globe. Balancing atop a rolling sphere, he creates delicate, daring worlds where movement becomes language and gravity turns into poetry. His artistic approach, weaves together elements of circus, physical theatre, dance, absurdity, and comedy – forming a style that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lorena Di Bello
<\/b>Lorena Di Bello is an Italian aerial acrobat specializing in static rope and cloudswing\u2014though she loves to grip, swing, and launch herself wherever gravity allows. In 2020, she co-founded Las Corpa, a site-specific circus company, with Martina Calvo, later joined by artists Ignacia Parraguez and Morgane Maret. Together, they create cabarets and festivals in Brussels and Sicily. Lorena is also currently performing with the Czech company Cirk La Putyka in the show Rest in Euphoria.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
