Proef van deze opzwepende dans met Braziliaanse roots en leer dansen als op het Carnaval van Rio De Janeiro.
Juliana Braga was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. At the age of 11 she began her studies on the “body”,
furthering her studies through specializations in modern and contemporary dance techniques, together with folkloric,
popular, and salon's dance. At 15, she began her career as a dance teacher and even today,she is working on
a fusion between the techniques and the awareness of the body, using rhythms and dances from traditional Brazilian roots.
She is registered in Brazil in the Artist’s Union as a teacher and ballerina. She established herself
in The Netherlands in 1989, recognized by the Dutch Ministry of Culture as an educating artist,
and has since been spreading Brazilian popular culture throughout The Netherlands, participating in important
projects and multicultural festivals throughout Europe and Brazil.
